The Twelfth Annual Collingswood Book Festival takes place Saturday, October 11 in Collingswood, NJ, and Alissa will be there. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Look for her and other members of the KidLit Authors Club in the Teen/Tween tent. At 2 p.m. Alissa will be speaking on a panel on Developing Characters in Realistic Fiction with fellow YA authors Alison Ashley Formento, Tiffany Schmidt, Elisa Ludwig, Yvonne Ventresca, Margie Gelbwasser, Timothy Tocher and Pamela Tuck.
Also, think sun! In fact, if you know any anti-rain dances you might want to perform them. If the weather holds out the festival will be held outdoors on Collingswood’s main drag, but in case of rain the festival will have to be moved indoors and will be held at the Collingswood High School at 424 Collings Avenue.
